Across a gap and some pipes (the second of which leads to an underground area with some coins and another power-up, and exits out to the fourth pipe) is a bridge with some Little Goombas, and above the bridge is a Hidden Block with a 1 up Mushroom. The player starts off next to some ? Blocks, with the right-most block containing a power-up, and Koopa Paratroopas jumping toward the player. Even if the game its longer if you play it all, and even if the world 8 its harder, you will be better prepared in lives and objects at your disposal, making the end game easier than SMB1. In other hand in long term, SMB1 have 36 levels and SMB3 a lot more, but in SMB3 you have a lot of chances of earning lives, power ups, shortcuts if you gameover, and you are awarded a lot for exploration. In SMB3 you do 1-1 1-2 1-3 1-Fortress 8-Tank 8-Boat 8-Hands? 8-fast airship 8-1 8-2 8-Fortress 8-Bariccade 8-Bowser Castle, adding every boss battle in between, adding the mushroom house and Hands if you hunt down leaves. In SMB1 you do 1-1 1-2 4-1 4-2 8-1 8-2 8-3 8-4 or even you can add world 3 if you hunt 1ups. In other hand, if you already play them and underestand em, and you play with warps SMB3 gives the cake for me, not because its dificult, because the game its designed to be easy in longterm not in short term. SMB3 have more newcomer friendly mechanics. because it has laberints, dont have the jump hop when you jump over enemies, and the controllers are very heavy. It depends, if a person didnt play both, probably Super Mario Bros.
